Serkan Ozakbas is Senior Consultant in Neurology in the Multiple Sclerosis at Dokuz Eylul University. He is working at Dokuz Eylul University as Professor since 2010. Professor Ozakbas has been involved in many researches on cognition, neuroimmunology, treatment, physical disability and natural history in multiple sclerosis. Professor Ozakbas has published more than many papers, editorials and book chapters in the field of multiple sclerosis. He is the founding president of the Multiple Sclerosis Research Association

Banu Anlar is a Professor in Pediatric Neurology, Department of Pediatrics, Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Ankara, Turkey. She is member of several national and international professional organizations: the Europan Pediatric Neurology Society (EPNS), the Asian & Oceanian Child Neurology Association (AOCNA), the International Child Neurology Association (ICNA), the Developmental Child Neurology Society, and the Turkish Child Neurology Association, where she also served as a board member. Her area of interest includes pediatric demyelinating and immune-mediated diseases, chronic infections of the nervous system, and neurological involvement in primary immune deficiency or immune dysregulation disorders.

Bilge Piri Cinar is assosicate professor in Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University, Turkey. She is physician with main interest in multiple sclerosis and cognition. During the past 3 years, she has been working at Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University, Neurology Department and she continues assistant training and academic studies. She has published numerous articles about neurodegenerative disorders such as multiple sclerosis in international scientific journals. She also has articles on experimental models of neurological diseases. She is board member of Multiple Sclerosis Research Association.

Yesim Beckmann is currently Professor of Neurology at Izmir Katip Celebi University Medical School, İzmir, Turkey. She graduated from 9 Eylul University Faculty of Medicine and received her neurologist title in Ege University Faculty of Medicine. She has been an active collaborator and member of German Society for Neurology. Her area of interest includes multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating diseases and headache. She has authored many researches and scientific studies in the field of multiple sclerosis.

Dr. Bora is currently a clinician and researcher in Dokuz Eylul University Department of Psychiatry and Dokuz Eylul Univ Graduate School of Health Sciences, Department of Neurosciences in Turkey. He had moved back from Australia after spending a decade in Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre in the University of Melbourne, Australia. He has been conducting research in: Early diagnosis and management in psychotic and affective disorders; Social Afffective and Cognitive Neuroscience in Neuropsychiatric Disorders including dementia, multiple sclerosis and movement disorders; Neurobiology of Mood Disorders and Schizophrenia. He has an interest in using neuropsychological, neuroimaging and advanced data analytic methods in investigating neuropsychiatric disorders. Recently, he developed a service called ETAP (Early Diagnosis and Intervention Program in Psychiatry) which is the first early intervention program for psychosis and bipolar disorder in Turkey. He also leads SCANLab (Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience Lab) in Department of Neurosciences in Dokuz Eylul University.

Cavit Boz is currently Professor of Neurology at Karadeniz Technical University Medical School, Trabzon, Turkey. He received his training in neurology at the same university followed by a fellowship at University of British Columbia, Multiple Sclerosis Clinic, Vancouver, Canada and joined the faculty of the Karadeniz Technical University Medical School as assistant Professor in 2005. His main focus of research is in the field of multiple sclerosis. Dr. Boz has authored many research and review papers and is currently an executive board member and treasurer of the
Turkish Neurological Society.

Dr. Rahsan Gocmen graduated from Cukurova University Medical School. She completed radiology residency at Department of Radiology in Hacettepe University and became associate professor in Hacettepe University. She did Neuroradiology Fellowship at Hacettepe University.
She had European Diploma in Neuroadiology and European Diploma in Pediatric Neuroadiology. She is a member of Turkish Society of Radiology, European Society of Neuroradiology, American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology.

Prof Tuncer completed her specialty training in Hacettepe University, Department of Adult Neurology. She received a “Fellowship” Training at the Neuroimmunology Laboratory of the San Raffaele Neuroscience Institute with the European Neurology Association Fellowship between 2002-2003. She worked on experimental animal models of multiple sclerosis in this process. She started working as a specialist in the Department of Adult Neurology at Hacettepe University in 2004, and completed the Clinical Neuroimmunology Master's Program at Hacettepe Institute of Neurological Sciences between 2005-2008. She has been continuing her academic studies as a lecturer since 2010. She is on the executive committee of the Non-Thesis Master Program in Clinical Neuroimmunology at Hacettepe Institute of Neurological Sciences. The main areas of study can be summarized as immunopathogenesis of neurological autoimmune diseases, neurological effects of congenital or acquired immunodeficiencies, immunopathogenesis and clinical finding association. She regularly takes part in the organizing committee of Basic and Clinical Neuroimmunology Student Schools and Neuroimmunology Congress within the scope of Ankara Neuroimmunology Association.

Erdem Tuzun received his medical doctor and neurologist titles in Istanbul University and then worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Oxford, Texas and Pennsylvania Universities. He is currently the chairman of Neuroscience Department at Istanbul University. His scientific studies are mainly focused on clinical neuroimmunology.

Alon Kalron (PhD, PT) is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Physical Therapy, Sackler Faculty of Medicine and the Sagol School of Neuroscience, Tel-Aviv University, Israel. He also served as head of the Physical Rehabilitation Research Unit, The Center of Multiple Sclerosis, Sheba Medical Center, Israel. Dr. Kalron has worked as a physical therapist since 1995 with a strong clinical and scientific background in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. He has also served as a clinical instructor for many physical therapy students. His main research has focused on physical activity, cognition, gait, and balance in the neurological population, particularly, people with multiple sclerosis. Recently, he began investigating the use of neuroimaging and biological markers to better comprehend the impact of interventions on neural function and structure. He has networked both nationally and internationally with clinical leaders in the field of MS. Dr. Kalron has published over 90 articles in international peer-review journals and has presented his work at national and international scientific conferences. Funding has been received from the National MS Society, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Justice, National Insurance Institute, and the pharmacological industry.

Ozge Ertekin (PhD, PT) is an associate professor in Dokuz Eylul University School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Department of Neurological Physiotherapy-Rehabilitation, Turkey. Previously, she has worked as research assistant at Dokuz Eylul University in different inpatient and outpatient clinics for seven years. Her main research areas are physical activity, exercise prescription, technological rehabilitation and arm functions in neurological diseases, especially in multiple sclerosis. Dr. Ertekin has published articles in international scientific journals and has presented her work at national and international scientific conferences. She teaches courses in Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degree programs in neurological physiotherapy and rehabilitation including Erasmus courses. she is also responsible for physiotherapy students’ education in Dokuz Eylul University Neurology Inpatient Clinic. She is founding board member of Multiple Sclerosis Research Association and continues her scientific and social projects with the Multiple Sclerosis Research Group.

Mehmet Berktas is a medical doctor by training and has MSc in pharmacoeconomics and pharmacoepidemiology. He is a member of the Institute of Clinical Research.
Dr. Berktas has been working in the medical research and pharmaceuticals industries since the early 2000s. In 2010, he started up his company; and since then, he has been providing consultancy services in epidemiology, real-world evidence generation and health economics areas for international pharmaceuticals companies at global or regional levels. Over the 20 years of his professional background, he has successfully involved in over 400 medical research projects. He developed training programmes for medical research and data analytics and reached out to over 1000 physicians with these programmes so far. He also delivered several medical statistics, pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics lectures for undergraduate and graduate students.
